Services
Our team of engineers and designers apply their deep knowledge of Engineering codes and fundamentals coupled with their hands-on experience to design and implement cost-effective, intuitive, robust solutions for electrical and Industrial challenges. From a risk analysis to feasibility study, electrical gear upgrades to entire industrial plant electrical power and motor control systems, we have the skill set, knowledge base, and experience to fill your electrical needs, large or small.
We offer the following services to solve your challenges.
Microgrid Design Sizing & Optimization
There is a growing worldwide trend for microgrids due to two main drivers: the provision of power to remote communities and industrial facilities; and the need for buildings or facilities that are normally grid-connected to be able to disconnect and function independently.
Microgrid Sizing and optimization in all sectors, from village power and island utilities to grid-connected utilities.
Solar Plant design, Sizing & Installation
The success of any solar photovoltaic (PV) plant comes down to reliable, efficient and long-term performance. With GIC as your partner, you benefit from our high precision solutions and decades of experience.
Energy Study & Load Profiling
We Conduct energy studies and load surveys and Identify areas of energy wastage.
Soil Resistivity Measurement
Soil Resistivity is most necessary when determining the design of the grounding system for new installations (green field applications) to meet your ground resistance requirements. Ideally, you would find a location with the lowest possible resistance. But as we discussed before, poor soil conditions can be overcome with more elaborate grounding systems.
Ground Testing for Mine Sites
All mine sites have grounded electrical systems, so that in the event of a lightning strike or utility overvoltage or ground fault, the current would be able to find a safe path to earth or the neutral of the transformer. To ensure a reliable connection to earth, electrical codes, engineering standards, and local standards often specify a minimum resistance for the ground electrodes.
LPS Inspection
A lightning protection system (LPS) is designed to protect a structure, equipment, or people from the damaging effects of lightning strikes.
In a lightning protection system, electrical components are safeguarded by surge protective devices to stop surge while buildings or structures are protected with the help of external lightning protection, which comes in the form of lightning rods, metal conductors and earthing terminals.
